Breakfast in this sunny dining cove is the perfect perch for viewing spectacular sunrises, watching eagles overhead, and Orca whales swimming thorough Yokeko pass.
The Cascades are visible to the east looking across Smilk Bay waters. Hope Island is off in the distance to the east and just a quick boat ride away from Yokeko Point. Great crabbing locations are in Smilk Bay and around Hope Island.
Look west from the dining nook and you will see more of the Deception Pass Waterway. Cornet Bay on Whidbey Island is your view to the left and the Deception Pass bridge is due west. There are outstanding sunset views from the living room.
The living room is the perfect spot to look west through the trees to view Ben Ure Island and Strawberry Island. The channel between the islands is the pathway the Orca whales take from outside of Deception Pass into the waterways around Whidbey Island.
The stairs to the upper level are original from 1945. You step on old growth wood steps and touch vintage lath and plaster walls on your way up to a large master bedroom suite.
The master bedroom has windows on the east, west and south. The water way, sunrise and sunset views from this room are world class.
Your morning view will be spectacular sunrises and early bird activity. There is interesting boat activity year-round.
